Young Adults — age 24+

Our older Young Adults’ Group is creatively named “Young Adults”.  We are a group of about a dozen young workers and upper-year university students whose desire is to know God better through his Word.  But that’s only half of it!  We also want to learn how to serve him and each other better, especially as we find ourselves in new contexts.

A typical evening includes catching up from the week, praying for one another and the world, before studying the bible.  We sometimes also practice our memory verse, hear from missionaries or share a meal together.

Throughout the year we also get together just to have fun, socialise and get to know one another better.  We also try to be involved in opportunities to evangelise and serve as a group.

We meet weekly on a Thursday night (we find this fits in well with the flow of our week) for most of the year.  There is a short break each quarter and over the summer, depending on what everyone’s doing.  But we’re young, we’re flexible.  We’d love to have you visit, but would recommend that you call or fill out the contact form just to be sure that we’re meeting.

Current Studies: Don’t Waste Your Life

Starting on Thursday 15th July, we are working through John Piper’s book “Don’t Waste Your Life”. Absolutely essential for all young adults.

Desiring God makes all of John Piper’s book available free online. Just click to download a pdf of Don’t Waste Your Life and the accompanying Study Guide.

For your encouragement
