God in the Rubble and Dust (pt 2) (Lamentations 3:1-66)

John Cook, November 12, 2017
Part of the Lamentations (God in the Rubble and Dust) series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

In chapter 3, the author focuses and personalises his struggle. Before he has addressed the wrath of God on the city, now he turns to the wrath of God on the prophet (himself). And as he grapples with the pain he sees, he returns to the truth he knows of the character of God, dwelling on this rich truth and kneading it into his circumstances.
