Jesus creates a Better Community (Hebrews 10:19-25)

Dave D'Amour, July 30, 2017
Part of the Hebrews - Jesus is Better series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Our individualistic Western society is filled with lonely, isolated people struggling like never before.

Jesus did spend His time writing books but creating community - radical community that's called to love one another JUST AS Jesus loved us! Radical indeed. And this kind of community is the expression of "acceptable worship" in the new covenant.

May our Christian community truly "stoke up" what is Christ-like amongst us, and also "spur us" where we need sharpening, chiseling away what is not Christ-like in us.
