Part of the Hebrews - Jesus is Better series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Honestly, what do you DO with pictures of yourself that you really dislike?

Why do we find such a deep need for approval from outside ourselves? Because ultimately our souls long for approval from God: "Well done, good and faithful servant - enter into the joy of your Master!"

But falling short, being could we ever gain that approval from a Holy God? How can we have our guilt forgiven? Our shame removed?

Hebrews 7 gives us the answer: by having a perfect advocate, interceding for us - Jesus!
